Jeffrey A. Mann began his career with SSC in 1998 upon his retirement from the United States Army after serving twenty years with the Military Police. Since joining SSC, Mr. Mann has performed as Operations Manager in New Haven and Hartford territories and as a result of his leadership and management abilities, he was promoted to District Manager in 2001 and then to his current position as Vice President of Operations in 2005. Mr. Mann's responsibilities include security operations management throughout Central and Eastern Connecticut and all of Rhode Island as well as the administration of SSC's district office in Hartford, CT.

During his career with the U.S. Army, Mr. Mann determined personnel requirements, duty schedules and manpower standards for Military Police units and Army training centers ranging from 30 to 300 personnel. He has planned and coordinated security for high level meetings between the U.S. President and the President of the former Soviet Union. In addition, he served as Deputy Chief of Police at a multinational military installation in The Netherlands and developed security and emergency contingency plans for European military installations. He also supervised the deployment of Police Augmentation Forces during increased threat conditions during Operation Desert Storm.

Mr. Mann is a cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science from the University of the State of New York. He was the Distinguished Honor Graduate of the Military Police Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Courses and is a graduate of the Military Police Investigations and Equal Opportunity Representative Courses. He is currently a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and has achieved the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from same security industry association. Mr. Mann is also a member of the Hartford Security Communication Access Network (SCAN).
