Brian A. Donohue brings a wide-ranging and distinguished previous career in Law Enforcement and security management to his role as Vice President at SSC. He joined SSC in 2000 after distinguishing himself with the N.Y.P.D. where he served as a Specialized Investigator in the Midtown Robbery Task Force in Manhattan and the Diplomatic Protection Unit in the Special Operations Division. Mr. Donohue also served as Organized Crime Investigator and as an Anti-Crime Officer in the Street Crime Unit in Brooklyn. 

Mr. Donohue followed his career in New York with a position as Public Safety Director of the Housing Authority of Norwalk, CT.  He subsequently advanced his professional experience with a position as Director of Security at a large urban shopping mall, a part of the Westfield Corporation. Under his leadership, the mall security department transformed its training program to a "customer service and communication first, enforcement last" model. His industry leading development and strategic placement application of CCTV systems and training programs at malls in CT, NJ and MD were exceptionally effective in reducing automobile theft at the Westfield mall locations to a fraction of their previous number.

Mr. Donohue continues to develop SSC's professional consulting services with special emphasis on vulnerability assessments and physical security surveys for a wide spectrum of clients. Mr. Donohue is admitted as an Expert Court Witness in Multiple Disciplines and has testified in many high profile cases. In Mr. Donohue's present role with SSC, he leads and coordinates security operations at more than 200 uniformed security client sites spread over three states. Mr. Donohue holds a vision for SSC as the industry leader due to its forward thinking, responsive management and professionally trained and managed employees.

Mr. Donohue holds a Bachelor of Science in Government Administration/Police Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, C.U.N.Y., New York and two Fire Safety Director Certificates, High Rise and Hotel, from the Fire Science Institute in New York.
