John P. Byrne brings almost two decades of security to his position as Vice President of Operations. He has been with the organization since 2000 and is responsible for SSC's presence in Fairfield County, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. He is in charge of overall operations and security management programs within this tri-state area. Additionally, Mr. Byrne serves as the Managing Director of SSC's district offices in Elmsford, NY and Parsippany, NJ.

Prior to joining SSC, John served as the Director of Loss Prevention for a major retailer managing the loss control operations of multiple business units in the New York Metropolitan area. He is proficient in numerous internal and external security systems and has wide-ranging investigative experience.

Mr. Byrne is a Pace University graduate, holding a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.  He has achieved the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and is a recognized leader in the security industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Byrne has received various accolades including the 2005 Distinguished Service Award for his service to the Westchester/Rockland County Chapter of ASIS.
